Danica is 9 Months Old!

It is truly hard to believe that Danica is 9 months old. Each and everyday is an adventure full of new discoveries. The girl is a hoot to say the least--as a good friend always says "she is too stinkin cute!" Danica is taking more steps each and everyday and seems to be gaining more confidence with each step. Her favorite place to play is a fort she and her Dad have built using her pink blanket and our lounge chair. It is perfect for a game of peek a boo and she can see her self in the glass on the end table. She loves to do a walk through of the pictures on her wall and hear mommy and daddy make the animal noises and she insists on touching the elephant picture above her changing table constantly and when you say no, she turns to you and smiles and then does it again, what a gal!

Just this morning she had a cup of milk, or atleast part of a cup of milk, and I thought I would let her play a little and eat my english muffin before she had her yogurt/cereal and toast. How wrong was I? As soon as she saw me eating the english muffin, she came screaching towards me, climbed in my lap and reached for my english muffin---I think she was ready for her toast. So I postponed my breakfast and put her toast in the toaster. As we put her in her high chair she reached for her bib and proceeded to put it on, or at least throw it around her neck, all the while letting out a gleeful screech. The girl was ready for that toast! How do these little people get so smart so fast?
