14 Weeks!

Life doesn't get much sweeter! Jasper is such a joy and he and Danica are really beginning to have fun together--he simply smiles at her when she looks at him.

12 Weeks

Jasper is 12 weeks old....now that is hard to believe. We have moved up the straps in his car seat and removed the infant support, he has outgrown his 0-3 month clothing and most of it has been boxed up, and last night in the middle of the night he rolled over from his tummy to his back. How is it possible? I continue to struggle with being at work everyday, but we are getting along. Everyone is beginning to come out of the terrible colds we had, finally! We had Jasper back at the doctor on Monday and he was put on a different round of antibiotics, we finish them tomorrow. But the little booger weighed 14 lbs! Danica is wild as ever and loving being able to play outdoors.

We had a fabulous Easter, eventhough most of the Green clan has been a bit under the weather. Danica and Jasper were treated right by Mr. Bunny, their favorite had to be the Little Tykes slide for sure.
We enjoyed a great church service at the Good Shepherd UMC with Blythe and the gang and then a super lunch at the Heits' home. Danica is still talking about the Easter egg hunt she and Madelynn went on and in fact we have had several hunts in the house since then. When we got home from KC, Auntie and "E" came over and brought some more Easter treats, including the "Elefun" game---that was a treat watching Danica try to catch the butterflies in a net!
Danica is 22 months old today and is still plugging away at the potty training. The ironic thing is she does much better in public than she does at home. Not quite sure about that one....
we will take it though. She is growing like a weed, last week she had P.A.T. screening and is 30 lbs and 34 1/2 inches tall. She was at the doctor today, we have been fighting a cold and on top of that she broke out in hives on Friday and has battled them off and on all weekend
This is what she looked like on her front side when we got home from the Heits' on Sunday. Dr. Paul has us giving her some children's allergy medicine for now and we will see what that does. She was also suffering from an ear infection in her left ear : ( We have been very lucky all winter and have stayed very healthy, so I guess we had this coming. I just hope we get it over with and can enjoy Spring!

Kelly stopped in Lathrop on his way home from the doctor with Danica and it is exciting to see the dirt moving there. Enjoy the pictures---our coming soon sign is great!

10 Weeks

Rounding out the week with great weather and colds, that about sums up things at the Green house. Jasper and I took a road trip to Dr. John's last night, with a matted (sometimes shut) eye. The result, our first prescription, to the tune of $140.00 because the insurance company has yet to get our little man added to my insurance : ) Nice, huh---I wonder if the "Obama plan" would help with things like that?
Anyway Jasper's nappy eye only comes after Danica's nappy eye, runny nose and now cough and Mommy's sore throat, which is now Daddy's sore throat. Hello SPRING!
Looking forward to Easter with the Snyder's and Heit's on Sunday!
