First Trip to the Swimming Pool!

Danica took her first trip to the local swimming pool this afternoon and loved it! The whole family went, including our nephew Ethan and we met up with The Whitt's there. Danica is definately going to be our outside child. She continuously points outside when she is in her high chair and could not get enough of the swimming pool, she even got her face wet a couple of times. We can't wait for the beach!

Just Dance

One of Danica's favorite pass times in the evening is to dance. I don't know what we are going to do now that Idol and Dancing with the Stars is over, that was our music to dance too. The picture doesn't do her dancing any justice at all but it is the best I can do, once the camera comes out she won't dance she just wants the camera. Therefore, we aren't able to get video or any better pics of her cool moves. Hopefully someday she will grace you with her moves. Not sure where she gets them?

Happy Mother's Day to all you ladies out there.

I had a fabulous first Mother's Day. Danica and her Daddy had breakfast for me, we went to church, ate lunch with the rest of the family and they surprised me with some great gifts to put to use on our new deck! I can't tell you how excited we are about that new addition. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband and daughter and if they only knew what a joy it is to be their mom and wife. Blessings aren't work at all!

T Minus 1 Month....

And counting!

Yes---Danica is 11 months old today! We are getting very excited for her first birthday bash and simply can't believe how fast this year has gone.

Danica is now getting her fifth tooth, it is coming in up top and she has succesfully learned to climb the stairs to her bedroom. She loves to be outside and has really enjoyed the nice weather we have had the last few days, her new swing, and watching the guys put on our new deck, it should be done by the end of the week. But you never know, as is common with any project that occurs at the Green house we have already "ran into a problem." Some of you will get a kick out of that statement, Kelly and I just think it is getting old. However, as with most any problem, there is a solution so we will plunge forward and keep our fingers and toes crossed.

What a fabulous weekend! The weather was perfect, I think we are on day 3 now, no rain---there for a while I thought we were going to have to form our feet into webs and learn to quack non stop. On Saturday, Danica and I drove to KC to have brunch with Lindsey, SeAnne, Tatum and Rachel and then we strolled the Brookside Art Fair and some other Brookside shops. There were some great kid shops. Later that afternoon everyone loaded up and headed back to "the country" and after dropping Tatum and Leni's and Danica and Grammy and Papa's the girls met up with our fellas at the Hamilton Alumni Golf Tournament for a bit of socializing.
Today, the lawn got mowed and weed eaten in preperation for the re-installation of our fabulous deck and Danica's swing got hung in the tree. Very exciting! After we had played outside for a good two hours we got Danica inside for a bath and dinner....she stood at the sliding glass door, looking out at her swing and "pouty crying." I think she likes it : )
