Danica went for her first haircut this afternoon and did fantastic! She sat in the chair herself and didn't fuss or wiggle too much :)

19 Months Old

Danica is 19 months old today and talks up a storm. She is quite the gabber and most certainly has her own opinion. Last night for dinner I tried a new recipe, I took one bite and wasn't impressed, but ate it anyway. Danica ate a bite, moved on to her yogurt, then her carrot, took another bite and then said she was "done." To that I replied if you don't eat your dinner you won't get dessert, to which she fussed, and we attempted to get her to continue eating. Her reply....."yuck!" I agreed with her so I offered her a PB sandwich, to which she was thrilled. I didn't even know she knew the word yuck let alone how to use it in context. Kelly and I both found it amusing and the family all agreed the recipe must go in the garbage : )

We enjoyed Christmas at the Heits home on Friday and managed to get the girls posed in their matching Christmas outfits from Mimi and Papa for a quick picture. It was nice to visit with them and for the girls to play a little together and us ladies even managed to make it out to do a little shopping while the boys watched football....and toddlers.

I had a doctor's appointment for our little guy this morning and we are still plugging right along. Heartbeat was great at 143 and I am 3 cm dialated and 60-75 % efaced. Things are ready around here for his arrival, he has a name, and I am beginning to get anxious. However, Kelly and I are both very busy at work so we are hoping to at least last this whole week. Everyone at work had a shower for us last Monday, a
nd got us some really great things and fed me a super lunch---and managed to pull it all off without me knowing.
