2 Month Check Up

Jasper's 2 month check up and shots were this evening and he is great! He weighed 12 lbs 13 ozs (75%) and was 24 1/2 inches long (95%). He wailed for a bit with the shots but is sleeping soundly now : ) Mommy has survived the first 2 days back to work, both kiddos went to Mimi's on Monday and the babysitter, Janae's today. They have gotten along great both days, so far so good--we will keep our fingers crossed for the rest of the week!

Jasper 8 Weeks

Danica's St. Patrick's Day treat!

We hope everyone had a Happy St. Patrick's Day. We took in Jasper's 1st parade with Mimi yesterday afternoon. Jasper slept through it, but Danica loved it, except for the sirens! However, I think the marching band, especially the drumline, all but made up for the fire engines. We shopped on Tuesday with Mimi and Aunt Blythe and Madelynn. We had a great time and the kids were all super shoppers! This is my last week off so we are simply trying to enjoy it and preparing for the change in schedule next week. I have had a glorious maternity leave and have been blessed with lots of extra time with my babies!

7 Weeks

Jasper is 7 weeks old today, smiling and holding his head up great! We are almost to count down mode for mommy going back to work---yuck.

Danica enjoyed a new activity yesterday, courtesy of her Mimi, window markers. They were lots of fun...Thanks Mimi!

We enjoyed a couple of great walks early this week, before the rain came and took in some basketball games. Ethan was playing his CRBC games, just lost tonight and is out of the tournament. Also, our Lady Hornet basketball team competed in the sectional game last night and beat Orrick and now will play in Chillicothe on Saturday against Harrisburg---should be some tough competition.

Danica is 21 months old!

Danica had her Parents as Teachers developmental screening today with Ms. Judy and did fabulous, she is at the 2 year old level or beyond in all areas. She is still doing great with the potty training each day is different, however she is going more and more independently! We are looking forward to warmer weather so we can get outside and play---you can see Danica is practicing her pedaling skills in hopes of a tricycle some day soon!

6 Weeks

Jasper is 6 weeks old today, and last night our little man slept from 10:30 p.m. until 5:45 a.m.! Today I had my 6 week check up, Dr. O said everything looked great. My babies are pretty good to me. In the last week I have made the decision to stay at home the full 8 weeks so I don't start back to work full time until March 22nd, but I will go in a few hours a week over the next few weeks. I figured this was my last maternity leave, I was going to make it count!
