Jasper's 1 month old!
Good evening everyone! We have returned from Jasper's 1 month check up and my visit to the dentist to have a cavity filled (yuck!). Jasper was 10 pounds 5 ounces (75%) and 23 inches long (90%). Dr. John thought everything was great and was very impressed with our good eater----as is mommy! I know this may be too much information for some, but for those that knew my struggle with breastfeeding Danica, I am excited to report about 6 bags of milk stored in the fridge and a little boy that has had only 1 formula bottle to date (and that is because I had a board meeting and had not pumped at all yet.)
Danica is still progressing on the pottying---everyday is a new day and a different experience. This morning we went to our Parents As Teachers "Together Time" which was a winter theme and Danica threw "snow balls" (paper), made snowman with playdoh, played in shaving cream and did some coloring and also enjoyed one of her favorites ICE CREAM for snack. It was a good time---just got to work on that group storytime, she is not interested in sitting still, at all.

20 Months....2 Weeks....

Danica is 20 months old today and Jasper was 2 weeks yesterday. Today we worked extra hard on the potty training and will continue to do so over the weekend. So far today Danica has gone pee in the potty 4 times! She has become frustrated several time as well and therefore it has been one of the toughest days we have had since Jasper's arrival. Still no shower yet today : )
I took Jasper for a weight check at the health department yesterday and he weighed 8 lbs 7 ozs! Great weight gain for a week and he surpassed his birth weight at the two week mark by a long shot.
Kelly has put some of the finishing touches on the completion of our workout/playroom in the basement, and it looks fantastic! It is a project that has been ongoing for several years and already I can see what a great addition it will be.
