As Seen on TV

Our daughter is an infomercial junkie. There I said it. Well she may not be a junkie, but can someone explain to me why when Billy Mays (picture below) does an infomercial Danica stops whatever she is doing to watch and doesn't start back up until the commercial is over? She has a similar reaction when hearing the 90210 or FRIENDS theme songs, but that I get, they are about all we watch at this house besides ESPN. I guess Billy Mays is in the business he is in because he is captivating and sucks you in---I just didn't know he could suck them in so young.

I told myself I wouldn't blog about his but I have to tell you how I feel. I never watched the Bachelor but had to see what all the fuss was about so I watched the last 1 1/2 on Monday and a little of the 2nd "after the rose" on Tuesday. I won't even get into how silly these "After the Rose" shows are. I think Jason is admirable, everyone should live their life doing what they know is right for them and not worry about what people think of them, because ultimately it is yourself you have to live with, no regrets. Sure, it sucks for Melissa, but it sucked for Molly before and now she is happy as a lark. Granted I didn't follow the whole show, so I sure as heck can't claim I know what is best for him and let's be honest as TV viewers, even if you followed the whole season we don't know all of the ins and outs of both relationships, so who are we to judge. Jason is living his life according to his gut--that is cool!
